Our Story

Why we started

BNS Data was founded because we kept seeing the same pattern repeat: organisations investing in data strategies that never got built, platforms that got architected but never got used, and consulting engagements that ended at the slide deck.

We built BNS Data & AI Insights to close that gap. To be the kind of data partner that stays in the room through build, delivery and launch — not just through discovery and recommendations.

Our products — DataLens and News Chronicle — exist because we wanted to build our own data IP, not just client work. They are real products, in production, used by real users. That keeps us honest about what it means to ship something that actually works.

We are based in Sydney and work with clients across Australia and globally. Our team is small and senior — and we intend to keep it that way.
